Caitriss is a companion you first meet during the events of the tutorial. You're recruited into helping her rescue her sister, Calla, who was abducted by cultists. Once the rescue goes awry, Cait drags you back to town and tends to your wounds. After you've recovered, Cait joins you in your adventures in the hopes of finding her sister and getting revenge on the Demon Cult.
Cait is a bubbly, compassionate, and very sexually adventurous woman, and she adores you for helping her try to rescue her sister. She is a faithful devotee of Mallach, having been raised in his temples in Jassira. As such, she spreads passion and love wherever she goes, generally carnally. However, she has issues with the religious hierarchy, and over the course of the adventure can be nudged away from or towards the church.

Appearance
Cait's appearance screen varies depending on TFs, which companion set she's using, whether you've fucked her, as well as other variables. This is the base appearance screen.
All told, Cait's got an incredibly voluptuous body that draws stares on the streets, and her outfit is revealing enough to make her figure all the more obvious. She's wearing a pair of tall, leather boots that reach up well over her knees, with a hint of bare skin between them at the hem of a sinfully short, lacy white skirt that shows off more than a little panty-clad butt whenever she bends over. A belt loaded down with potions and herb-pouches holds the skirt firmly in place, and is the last article of clothing before a long expanse of bare, flat belly. Over that, Cait wears a loose fitting white robe, the same kind other priestesses usually don. The silhouette of a woman is outlined against the gale, a heavy cloak drawn around her shoulders and a hood covering most of her face.
"Help," she croaks weakly, voice barely audible over the roar of the snowstorm outside. "Please... anyone... help!"
Cait appears during the events of the tutorial. You're at The Frost Hound, enjoying a drink and chatting with Garth, when Cait stumbles in bleeding from the head.
- Investigate: If nobody else is going to help, you sure will. Go with the bartender and see what's wrong.
- Chastise: What the hell — all these people here, and the limping bartender's the only one to stand up? What kind of people are they!?
- Do Nothing: The townsfolk have the right idea: this isn't your problem. Mind your own business and enjoy your drink.
- Skip Tutorial: Skip the tutorial adventure, advancing time to the start of the main quest. Only recommended for experienced players.
If you Skip Tutorial, you skip to a week later, having accompanied Cait to the Abandoned Temple, failed to rescue Calla, and declined Kasyrra's advances. If you Do Nothing, Garth leaves with Cait, and the game ends as the two of them do not return. If you Investigate or Chastise, Cait tearfully recounts how her sister was seized by assailants heading up the mountain. With armaments from Garth, you and Cait head out into the unseasonal blizzard
Outside the town walls, you do battle with the Demon Cult, fighting your way up the mountain to confront Master Tollus. However, despite your best efforts, Calla is thrown through a mysterious portal and Cait is unable to follow. If you were victorious against Tollus, you can choose whether to Comfort Cait or Pursue the villain, but ultimately it doesn't change anything. As you're distracted, the magical energy around the portal flares again as Kasyrra comes through.
After your encounter with the demoness, you come to in the Frost Hound. After the events at the temple, Cait carried you back to town where you've been unconscious for a week. You catch up with Cait about meeting Kasyrra and how the Marches have changed in the last week, and gain the In Her Footsteps and Cat Call quest as the tutorial ends.
Subsequent Encounters
Following the tutorial, Cait is available at The Frost Hound, initially in the Guests tab but moves to Companions once Recruited. She has a range of interactions, including being able to talk with her father through her menu once Cat Call is completed. You can also use Bovum Sherry to transform her along the Boob Cait path. As your companion, she also has a number of interactions during your adventures if she's in the party.
- Talk: Sit down and talk to Cait for a bit.
- Barney: Cait's dad ought to be around somewhere, surely she knows where! (requires having completed Cat Call)

Finding Barney

Once you've Recruited Cait, she mentions a lead she got. There's a witch to the north, Lady Evergreen, who may know more about portals and be able to find her sister. You travel through the Old Forest to meet her, overcoming the Alraune in the process. However, Evergreen explains that the temple portal only opens once a year, and only for one exchange. Furthermore, portals are much too dangerous to experiment with or try to force open. She does, however, know where Cait's father Barney is. That information, however, will cost Cait something. And Cait can't pay Evergreen's 'usual price'.
- Offer Womb: If Evergreen desires to plant child in your womb, that's a price you're willing to pay. (requires vagina, and to not be pregnant or infertile)

If you Offer Womb or Knock Up, you, Evergreen, and potentially Cait retire to Evergreen's boudoir to pay Cait's debt. Otherwise, Evergreen leads Cait away for a favour neither she nor Cait elaborate on. Either way, you learn that Barney is in Harvest Valley. There is a tearful reunion when you meet him, Cait catching him up on everything that's happened. Before you can leave, you're attacked by a Centaur Pack and Cait frees the Gnoll Spellblade from their captivity. And with that, you all return to Hawkethorne.
Temple of Mallach
"Like... what if another bunch of crazy creeps come up and try to set up shop in the ruins again? Or what if something even nastier than that Kasyrra demon came through in the same spot? Or... or what if Calla somehow manages to make it back and it's not safe for her and there's no one to tell her where Dad and I are? If we built a temple to Mallach there, we could watch the place, make sure nothing happens, and if it does, we could do something about it!"
Upon returning to The Frost Hound, you meet Salwah, Cait's friend from the temple, entertaining the locals. She and Cait catch up, and you learn more about the somewhat controversial circumstances in which Cait left the temple. Salwah's arrival gives Cait an idea though, one she expands upon when you go visit Salwah in her room at the tavern. Cait wants to take the Abandoned Temple and turn it into a Temple of Mallach, which she would run and Salwah would administrate while she's adventuring. This would tie Cait to the Frost Marches, and the church of Mallach.
- Help Them: You could definitely see yourself helping to found a new Temple of Mallach here in the Marches. If nothing else, it'll give Cait a new home away from home, and a reason to stick around for the long term.
- No Thanks: You aren't interested in a temple to the god of lust springing up right next to town, here.
If you choose No Thanks, you explain that you aren't interested in building a temple to Mallach by Hawkethorne, and the matter ends there. If you choose Help Them, you gain the quest Divine Pussy and pull in the assistance of The Baroness, Barney, and Garth in making Cait's religious dreams come true. When the temple is built, Cait's friends Amina, Imad, and Rune show up to help staff the temple, and Barney brings in the researcher Darius to study the portal as well. Cait is now Temple Matron of a newly established temple in the Frost Marches.
