For the sake of categorization, the item tag: Catalyst has been labelled here as a Weapon Tag, which denotes that it is a tag exclusive to weapons. Additionally, the wiki will use an unofficial symbol: for this tag when possible.

Items that have the Catalyst tag apply their Accuracy and Critical Chance stats to attacks to the powers tagged: [SpellEffectiveness can be amplified by SpellpowerAttacks include the Accuracy & Critical Chance of an equipped offhand Catalyst] or [CharmEffectiveness can be amplified by SexinessAttacks include the Accuracy & Critical Chance of an equipped offhand Catalyst].

An example would be the Sanctified Gladius, having +10 Spellpower & +10 Critical Chance. Since it is not a catalyst, when the power Immolation is used (spell tagged power) it does not gain the +10 Critical Chance, but still benefits from the +10 Spellpower.
