The imps re-appear as an enemy encounter in the [[Undermountain]]. The Imp Lord has levelled up, though the remaining imps are largely the same. This changes when you run into the bridge ambush. You approach a bridge across a chasm, caked in dried blood and other fluids. A horde of imps appear, and are set on attacking you before being driven off by [[Calise]] and a minotaur patrol. She leaves a new recruit, [[Isadora]], with you as she goes to pursue the imps. However, a group of imps remained hidden and waited for the patrol to leave. You and Isadora do battle with a group of new imp types, Imp Shankers and Imp Warlocks.

"Come on, boys!" the leader of the pack, a particularly hideous specimen wearing a wide-brimmed hat, snarls. "Let's put all their holes to work!"


Imps are the result of willing or unwilling copulation involving Demons. You first encounter them during In Her Footsteps, travelling into the Frostwood to thwart Kasyrra. If you fucked Kasyrra during the tutorial, the imps are born from your time together. Imps become more populous in the Frost Marches as Kasyrra's corruption spreads, with you yourself able to add to their ranks after liaisons with Kasyrra or other demons.
