Defined as "the front part of a person's head from the forehead to the chin, or the corresponding part in an animal", the following Appearance elements fall under this category; Face, Lips, Tongue, Mouth, and Eyes. Listed in this page are the various different elements of the Face that can be obtained through transformative items, scenes, or etc.

A Face Type is always keyed towards a certain race, and determines the general facial structure of a character. A character can only have one Face Type, and the process of obtaining another results in the previous being replaced. It should be noted that races can share the same face type (ex. Human face type is shared by Humans, Satyrs, Batfolk, Catfolk, Taeleer, and etc.). Obtaining a new face type usually replaces/removes any and all per-existing Face Tags.

A Face Tag can be considered as an extension or addition of a face, but does not affect the overall structure of it. In most cases, face tags are obtained alongside a new face type, which typically overwrites pre-existing tags. A character can have no face tags, but may also obtain multiple tags.

If one wishes to remove all tags, it is typically suggested to use a Soft Mud-infused Root of Man to specifically target the face only, although this process will also replace the previously existing Face Type.
Note: While the growth of an antennae can appear under the Head section, it classifies as a Face Tag. The specific removal section lists items that specifically remove that face tag without affecting any other tag. Being called specific, removes the inclusion of the "Raw" tag as the removal of the face tag might not occur through said method.

When a scene will calls upon a description for a character's face, there will be a certain amount of factors which determine what their face is described as. Split into 3 tables; Face Noun which gives a noun related to a character's face, Face Adjectives which returns adjectives based on what Face Type and Face Tags a character has, and Face Description, which uses face adjectives + Femininity to describe a character's face. When a face is referenced, it combines the Face Adjectives (25% chance for an adjective) and Face Noun.

When calling upon an appropriate adjective to describe a character's lips, this factor is determined by Lip Rating. Lip Rating is the summation of Lip Mod and (Femininity / 25). Lip Mod holds any numerical modifiers a character's lips may have. The Champion starts off with an initial 0 Lip Mod, however, there are certain scenes and transformations that can increase or decrease their Lip Mod.

Lip Color is a purely cosmetic change and its color can be changed through a number of different methods. There exists some scenes that will call upon a character's lip color specifically, and others can call upon one's lipstick color if applicable. It should be noted that Lipstick Color does not affect or replace Lip Color.

Added in version 0.3.39, was Cosmetics, which introduced additional cosmetic changes that can be applied to the Champion by Aurera & Claire at the Desire Stylists and Tattoos in Hawkethorne, and later, slightly less options by Aunora & Ikora at the Ponytails in the Marefolk Village (however they do not offer makeup and tattoo services). A sub-section of these cosmetic additions, Makeup, include: Lipstick, Eyeshadow, and Nail Polish. There exists some scenes that may check if a character has lipstick on or not, and may also upon what color it is. It should be noted that Lipstick Color does not affect or replace Lip Color. The makeup cannot be removed, unless the Clean Off option is chosen, for 100 EC.

When a scene will calls upon an adjective for a character's lips, it will call upon Lip Rating, and sometimes unchaste adjectives are excluded from said adjective list. Unchaste adjectives have other conditions outside of Lip Rating before it can be added to the pool of randomly chosen adjectives. Lip Color normally has a 1/4 chance of being included when lips are referenced, but can also be called upon directly.
