“ | I, Byvernia Talsna, claim you for a while. (Be lucky it is not to add you to my collection for good./You are no wyrmspawn or drake-kin, after all.) But even an interloping weakling like you has their purposes... and I will show it to you.

” |
Byvernia is a taeleer huntress that hunts for wyverns in the Foothills, claiming it as her hunting grounds. She has a various amount of tools on her belt, ranging from greasy oils to restorative concoctions to let her unleash her full power in a fight. Her nethers are stained with wyvern venom, marked with past contact-venom play. She loves intense breeding sex and has a harem of wyverns she keeps in her hunting lodge, although none of them are worthy of siring children. It's mentioned that she has beaten a dragon and boasts that her family are born great warriors, having fought against wyverns and their ilk when they were still slave-warriors.
Appearance
Now that you're getting a better look at her in the (sunlight/moonlight), you can see that this axe hurling (bitch/hare) isn't just your run-of-the-mill mercenary, bandit, or thief. She's wearing a fur-backed scaleplate coat; the front of it is covered in scales at least as big as a fist, segmented into a rack-guarding section and one for her abs. The mysterious woman's arms are completely bare but their muscles make it apparent she's far from the soft and subtle type. Even her pants are dotted with an occasional scale or two, even bearing a large knee-guarding plate that could stud a large shield.
The fair-skinned girl's red hair is cut short on the sides and swept back, reaching her shoulders but kept short so that it doesn't get in her face or mess with her ears. It's the type of haircut and complexion befitting a tunnel-raider... the real deal.
Interactions
First Encounter
Byvernia can be encountered once a day at Zone 2 of the Foothills, additionally, the Champion must either be at least level 4 or has completed Right of Conquest.
While venturing through the Foothills, the Champion finds the unnatural quiet concerning. This train of thought is cut-off when a throwing axe sails past their head, and crashes into the craggy ground. The axe flies back to its owner as the chain attached to it is pulled back, the owner grumbling that the Champion might be worth their weight in scales. The taeleer woman comments that she'd prefer dealing with larger drakes than annoying people, although, at least annoying people know how to stay out of her way, or if the Champion is a Wyvern; she notes that they aren't a natural one and have clearly gone off the deep end up looking like one. Regardless, the Champion asks who she is, but she does not give an answer and instead moves in for a fight.
The Champion will pick up her name after defeating her for the first time, but instead of going down, she will drink a vial from her belt and ask if they think they can best her with such pathetic tactics, before she gains a second wind and resumes the fight.
For victory options, see the Victory Sex Options section.
Subsequent Encounters
Repeat encounters with Byvernia will have the Champion learn from their previous encounter and be able to catch/dodge Byvernia's hatchet. They call for her to reveal herself to which she comments that the Champion is learning her tells, and that they'd be worth something if they didn't keep interrupting her hunt.
Similar to their first encounter, she will gain a second wind during combat.
Field Encounter
Having defeated Byvernia at least once and sexed her(victory or defeat) , there is a chance of encountering her in the Old Forest training, in Harvest Valley (except Zone 3) harvesting something, or in all the zones of the Foothills resting. Upon encountering her, the Champion can decide to:
Regardless of their choice, the Champion will need to fight and sex her again for another field encounter to potentially occur

Bother | Given her normal temperament, this might be the only time to actually talk or have fun with her. | (see section below)
Leave Be | It's probably best to let Byvernia have her peace, since it may just end up turning into a fight. |

Bothering her during her training will have the Champion give a small clap, forewarning her of their presence, which causes her to immediately whip around and lets loose of her axe. After seeing them, she retrieves her axe and holsters it to her leg. She props herself up against a tree, giving a small wag of her tail, and asks what they're after.
The Champion will immediately ask what Byvernia is up to, causing her to loose her grip on her axe, which drives into the blue-bark and releases a puff of splinters and spores. If the Champion agile enough, they will dodge out of the way, with Byvernia following moments later, else she tackles them, getting both of them out of the way. Regardless, one-by-one, thick shrooms burst forth in myriads of colors and patterns. Byvernia scowls and shouts that she was gathering Shroomwood. She examines her previous location and exclaims that now her hunting plans have been ruined for the day, she asks what do they want.
The Champion will immediately ask what Byvernia is up to, however, unlike the first time, she gives an immediate reply and safely fills her pouch full of bark shavings. With a smirk on her face, she asks if they're going to keep staring at her or are they going to fuck her.
The Champion attempts to sneak up to the sleeping huntress, if they are agile enough, they will be able to carefully brush their hand on her exposed stomach and call for her to wake up, else they immediately wake her up as they accidentally kick a few loose stones. Regardless, she immediately bolts up and her fierce fighting spirit ignites, until she sees them. When they assure her that they aren't looking for a fight, she cools down and relaxes. She asks if they want to chat or are they going to breed like animals.
Regardless of how the Champion interrupted her, the following options will become available:

Talk
The Champion ignores Byvernia's invitation and asks if this is how she trains. While slightly disappointed, she states that since trees are tough to cut, the best way to gauge one's skill with an axe is to test their cutting ability. They ask if her axes are composite weapons, which she answers by explaining that they get periodically reinforced with alloy so they can endure longer. Some blacksmiths say there used to be something sharper and more durable than Troniarii bronze, but it's all relics and crap nobles flaunt. She adds that it doesn't matter, since the truth is that the best method is to use iron in the alloy to toughen it, but never as the primary part of an alloy. The men in her family passed down this knowledge when they were still slave-warriors fighting against wyverns and their ilk. Before ending all the nicety talk, she states that it's a good thing the Champion is strong, that she wouldn't want them to be falling over dead too easily when her descendants come to test their mettle too.
When questioned about why she's harvesting bark, and its odd color, Byvernia explains that it's called Women's Bloom, and it helps a girl dilate wider when she's giving birth, however, it only works if you boil it in wyvern's saliva for at least a day to draw out the stuff that makes the bark blue. When asked how she has access to so much wyvern saliva, she explains that she owns wyverns, that she doesn't go around breaking up their nests and fucking their alphas into submission without bagging a few along the way. A distant crack of wood draws the conversation to a close, stating that since they've missed out on the chance to fuck her, they'll have to find her later.

Pregnancy
Typical Pregnancy rules apply for Byvernia to become pregnant. Currently, the Champion cannot encounter her during her labor, and their children are not placed at the Hawkethorne Nursery.
Pregnancy Stages
During her pregnancy, Byvernia will reach certain stages that will affect some scenes that involve her appearance, attitude, and or current state.
