Editor's note: I've described Mallach's interactions vaguely so you can read ahead. However, Mallach's content is closely tied to Convocation of Mirrors and the spoilery revelations contained within, so proceed with caution.
...And who is he supposed to be? You're certain of the answer, but the question has to be asked nonetheless.
The little catboy picks at his jeweled thong before taking his tail in his hands and giving you a playful little smile. "Our pretty pink friend Cait worships me."
Mallach is God of Passion and Love, and one of The Seven. He is most often associated with Jassira and his Catfolk, though is happy to extend his love to all who seek it. He's a friendly deity, teasing and flirtatious, though passion isn't always soft and gentle. You can attract his eye by helping Cait with her ambitions to further the worship of Mallach, or through other chance encounters with divinity.
"You've met one of his devout already, but in short, he is the god of poetry, song, and all other forms of artistry... and his followers have proven they can advance love-making into an art. He is the patron of bards and lovers, and of course all creative folks; anyone who pursues his passions, so long as they respect the body and soul of all other folk. There's no greater anathema to Mallach than one whose passions harm others: rapists and killers especially. He is, though rarely acknowledged as such, also the god of moderation."
—Brother Sanders
Appearance
"And in the middle of it all, his heavily cushioned throne facing you despite the round chamber, is a small catboy who can only be Mallach. He lazes about in a stereotypically feline fashion, draped over the seat with his tail flowing down onto the mosaic-tiled floor. The golden citole he's usually depicted with isn't in his hands, but lying against his throne, and his ears perk up as you draw near, the godling making an attempt to sit up in his throne as you approach."
Interactions
Talking with River
If you've fully completed Convocation of Mirrors and speak to River about Seen Before?, Mallach will appear to you. He discusses with you the things you learned from the convocation, as well as discussing some of his worshippers such as River and Cait. You don't get any further than a conversation, though he does leave on the somewhat disconcerting note that whether you win or lose, it will all make for an exciting story for him.
Mallach's Dream
Purring softly, the catboy god flows off his throne, golden jewelry clinking as he stretches and approaches you with arms spread to give you a friendly hug. "I really do just want to thank you for caring for Cait and hers in her time of need, and building the temple she needs to truly get her faith off the ground. Enjoy yourself! Be merry! Have some fun in the sun! Jassira's sun never sets here in my Dream, until it's time for the nighttime orgies under the stars.
"Or should I show my appreciation to you in some other way?"
If you complete Divine Pussy and build a Temple of Mallach in the Frost Marches, you fall asleep to find yourself outside an outrageously opulent palace with a catboy attendant offering you spiced coffee. You recognise the Jassiran architecture as you make your way through a palace filled with bards, patrons, and lovers, all with the same brand as Cait and Salwah. If you've completed Convocation of Mirrors and had the above talk with River, you will also meet a special guest availing themselves of some fine art and literature.
Before too long you meet Mallach in person, who wants to thank you for helping to organically expand his worship in Lumia's domain. He's eager to express his gratitude as well...
- Sex: Yes, you want to fuck the god of art and beauty and inspiration and all other kinds of passions. But most importantly, fucking.
- Tour: While it's very flattering that the god of passion himself would offer to reward you in a way befitting him, you're more interested in him as a person. Why doesn't he give you a little tour of his palace, and you can have a friendly chat?
- Decline: It's very flattering that the god of passion himself would offer to reward you in a way befitting him, but you just want to get back to bed.
Should you choose Tour, Mallach will be surprised but happy to show you around his palace. Everything he surrounds himself with is meant to inspire passion - while usually positive, that can also include disgust or spite. Mallach's cultivated an environment to invite select members of his faithful, surround them with fantastic art and music, ply them with sex and drugs, and then send them back out into the world invigorated. Cait and Salwah could find themselves here as well should they continue distinguishing themselves in his service. There is also more information if you've discussed the events of Convocation of Mirrors with him.
If you choose Decline however, Mallach will be somewhat disappointed but agree to return you to your sleep. He is also the God of Consent, after all.
Sex
"Perfect. Then allow me to demonstrate that your faith in me wasn't misplaced... why don't you take this body of mine and use it as you wish?" To say that Mallach's clothes are skimpy would be an understatement; they're the kind of excuse for garments one wears to obscure the imperfections on one's body... only the godling has none, by catboy standards anyways. He shrugs, allowing the sheer, perfumed silks to fall at his feet in a crumpled mess, then slinks up to you with his tail raised high, purring. "I promise I won't disappoint, not with the amount of experience I have."
During the Dream, you can also accept his gratitude in a more carnal form. Whether it's to have the experience of topping a deity, or just to brag to Cait that you fucked her God in the butt.
- Pillow-Biting: This is the only natural conclusion. Every single thing about the catboy godling screams pillow-biter; you're only doing what was inevitable anyway.
- Ride Him: Use Mallach's nubby feline prick for pleasuring your [pc.vagOrAss] and grind him into the carpets.
