—Hornet Workers to the Champion | ||
The Hornets, initially consisting of 3x Hornet Workers, is a generic group of Vesparans that can be encountered in the Old Forest. While the corruption of the Alraune remains unchallenged, the hornets indulge in the nectar of the corrupted flora and impregnate anyone with their queen's eggs through their ovipositors. When the Champion has reached level 2, a Hornet Drone oversees the workers and their nectar harvesting.
Once the Alraune has been dealt with and with new orders from their queen, the hornets will harvest nectar from the more natural/less-corrupted plant life and no longer force eggs onto everyone, and instead ask them to carry the eggs by making them feel good. With the completion of the Land of Milky Honey and the purification of the hive, the workers will be replaced by Hive Knights that patrol to deal with the natural and unnatural threats of the forest. Similar to the Hornet Drone, on subsequent encounters with the knights, there is a 50% chance for a Hive Handmaiden to appear, that will oversee the knights. Contrary to the disciplined demeanor of the knights (which instantly crumbles once they're teased), the handmaidens take on a serene and peaceable demeanor.
Interactions
Pre-Alraune
Pacing through one of the many trails of the Old Forest, the Champion pauses as they take in the cloying sweet smell of the corrupted flora. Investigating the source of the smell leads to a trio of hornet girls indulging in the corrupted plant life as they gather nectar from it. One of the hornets sees the Champion and asks if they want to get stuffed with eggs, that they want to share the gift and they won't take no for an answer. Combat will begin against (3x) Hornet Workers.
Once the Champion has encountered the Hornets and is at least Level 2, a Hornet Drone will appear alongside the Workers.
While in the forest, the Champion is met with a powerful wave of a sickly sweet scent. The familiar sight of hornets gorging themselves on the corrupted nectar greets the Champion. Immediately the Hornet Drone overseeing the trio alerts them of the Champion's presence, and they proceed to approach the Champion, with the intent of following their queen's orders and impregnating anyone with their queen's eggs, and they won't take no for an answer.

Post-Alraune
Pre-Hornet Quest
With the Alraune defeated, subsequent encounters with the hornets will have the Champion witness the workers harvesting nectar from the more natural/less-corrupted plants. When they spot the Champion and ask them if they want to get stuffed, they add that their queen has said to not force the eggs onto people anymore and that more people would carry the eggs if the hornets could make them feel good about it - although if they wish, they could struggle as a bit of foreplay. With that, the Champion is given the following options:

Post-Hornet Quest
With the completion of Land of Milky Honey, future encounters with the hornets will become significantly different. Azyrran has significant additional interactions with the knights if present.
The familiar scent of hornet honey hits the Champion's nose as they see a trio of vesparans. The armored knights give the Champion a crisp salute, addressing them as the savior of their hive, and explain that they're out on patrol - as per the queen's orders. Since coming to their senses, patrols have been doubled to fight against the usual and unusual threats of the forest, and that drones are to always travel in at least groups of three. With nothing else, the Champion begins to depart, but is interrupted by one of the knights, stating that they'd like to challenge the Champion as they rarely get a chance to improve themselves by fighting against stronger and smarter opponents.
If Azyrran is present, she has direct dialogue with the knights and is included as part of the challenge request.
On subsequent encounters, that is a 50% chance for 1x Hive Handmaiden to appear in the encounter.
The scent of honey greets the Champion as they see another trio of hive knights, marching through the forest trail in single file, although with a friendly yet military air to them. When they see the Champion, they give them a crisp salute. The Champion asks if they're out on patrol, to which they confirm that they are and request to challenge their savior in combat to slake their thirst for combat.
With introductions out of the way, the following options will become available:

Hawkethorne: Egged Trapper
Prior to leaving Hawkethorne for the Old Forest for the first time, the Champion will encounter a visibly pregnant Lupine male staggering towards them. He warns the Champion that the hornets have gone mad, that they laughed something about their queen and her eggs when they jumped him. Before leaving, he tells them that if they see his brother June, to tell June that he's still missing as he's going to hide in the cellar for a few days. (The Champion does not get the option to tell June).
Valencia: 2nd Encounter
On the 2nd encounter with Valencia, the Champion will find her being assailed by hornet workers and will be given the option to Help Her through Fight! or Threaten (if Land of Milky Honey was completed), or may simply Leave and abandon her. Standard Pre-Hornet Quest sex options & scenes apply.

Appearance

As the heat of battle winds down, your gaze is inexorably drawn to the mountainous racks sitting atop the hive knights' chests. Though they've been cleansed of the worst of the corruption Kasyrra inflicted upon their hive, several effects still linger — most notably the sheer size of their honey-tits. With the completion of Land of Milky Honey, the Champion can still be impregnated by the hive knights through the Get Egged sex scene. Its event are the same as the worker pregnancy events.
Trivia
- Prior to the reworked Land of Milky Honey in version 0.8.13, if the corrupted hive ending was achieved, there would be a Corrupted Post-Hive hornets encounter. Instead of the Hive Knights and Hive Handmaiden, it would be Love Knights and a 50% chance for a Bimbo Azyrran to join in. Significant difference in the encounter, pre-victory and pre-defeat scenes, but the sex scenes are mostly the same, with the exception of a few variations.
