Name's Ogrish. Yes, it's my shop. No, I didn't kill the last fella who owned it.

Ogrish is an orc that works as Hawkethrone's local blacksmith, he gets a lot of work. As a vendor and blacksmith, Ogrish spends most of his time at his smithy, where he can be interacted with between 8:00 - 16:59.

Ogrish is fairly decent to be around. On occasion, I'll visit his shop for any metallic items I need for my work, such as belt buckles or what have you. Any time I visit him, I always enjoy our conversations. Even if our conversations are rather one-sided in my favor.

Nelia

Ogrish does surprisingly fine work for what he has on hand. This town is full of good people, despite being on the frontier backwaters.

Darius

Told you I'd find a way to punch those damned ghosts. Old man Sanders and Ogrish helped me with these; they owe me from last summer. Come on, then, let's have some fun; I've been itching to get in a good workout.

Garret

Ogrish — the town blacksmith — reminds me of this one, huge orcish raider back in Tronarii! Do you think it's a coincidence or is he secretly a warlord? I mean, how do you explain him repairing gear for us? Only someone from Tronarii would have that kind of skill!

Lusamine

Appearance

A big, burly greenskinned man is working at the shopfront, a leather apron covering a body bulging with powerful muscles and thick, curly black hair. Between the strikes of his mighty hammer that send sparks flying, you can see flashes of tell-tale tusk and dark yellow eyes — an orc!

Interactions

First Encounter

Approaching the burly orc working the smithy for the first time will have him smile and greet his new potential customer. The Champion notes his mastery of the human tongue of Belharan, which is rare for orcs, especially in the frontier. He chuckles at their expression and extends his hand in greeting, he introduces himself as Ogrish, that this is his shop, and no he didn't kill the previous owner. Upon accepting his handshake, a Strength check(>80%, >50%, or <=50% of current level) will determine the strength of Ogrish's grip versus theirs. When the Champion states they're looking for arms and armor, Orgish states that he hasn't put his hammer to a good suit of armor or sword in a few years, but he has a few things lying around.

With introductions out of the way, his Shop options (see Ogrish's Smithy) will become available between 8:00 - 16:59.

Subsequent Encounters

Subsequent visits to Ogrish will have him raise his hand in greeting, and ask what he can do for the Champion.

Other Interactions

Depending if Right of Conquest has been completed or not, when exploring Hawkethorne, the Champion may come across Ogrish and Ivris talking about the recent restock of supplies, or complaining about the lack of supplies and missing traders.

In the miscellaneous dream, Ghosts and Goblins, the Champion complains to Ogrish about the armor they bought from him literally fell apart.

During the events of Caparison Hunter, when asked if Ogrish can make a caparison for Sugo, he says he doesn't sell pieces of clothing like that, as smithies dont' sew, and points the Champion to Leorah for leads about it.

If the Champion has encountered the Marked Mercenary Band, they may come across Lieutenant Jen bringing in another order of repairs for Tronarii bronze armors and weapons to Ogrish. This repeated encounter also unlocks the Tronarii codex entry.

If Brienne was talked to about Jewelry, Ogrish can be commissioned for 50 EC to make her piercings. Returning to Ogrish will have the Champion catch the sight of a cowbell on his workbench, and when asked about it, offers it to them for free since he isn't going to use it anyway.

During the events of Sweetest Climax, the Champion asks Ogrish what he can do with the Honey Core, he suggests having a choker done by Nelia, and gives them a few tiny gold chains free of charge to go with the collar.

During the events of Attitude Adjustment, Ogrish will charge 500 EC to fit and craft Quintillus' Hopknight Set.

When consulted about repairing the Wayfort, Ogrish will charge 2,500 EC, since it requires smithing for an entire fortress.
