Human (CoC)

According to Fenoxo, the first physical sentient beings to inhabit Mareth, were a group of humans Mages who accidentally transported themselves there from another world. The other races were either created by the Mareth Gods and Goddesses - inspired by the arrival of humans, or results of later mutations.

Despite this early start, humans eventually became quite rare. There seem to be three reasons for this: humans are very susceptible to mutations and transformations, there is no clear way to revert to human form once transformed, and crossbreeding always leads to children being purely of the other parent's race.

Human NPCs

• 
  Scylla - A warped human nun that can be encountered in the Bar at Tel'Adre after completing the Demon Factory quest, but only if the player has testicles and a 12" or longer penis.
• Marcus - A friendly human man with inhumanly large testicles found in the Desert.
• Fetish Cultist - A hostile, perverted human woman found at the Lake.
• Fetish Zealot - A hostile, perverted human man found at the Boat.
• Bath Girl - Found in the Sand Witch's Dungeon.

Mostly human

NPCs who have transformed but are still mainly human:

• Dominika - A human(ish) patron of The Wet Bitch who has an unusual talent for magic. She has some secrets about her, and the player seems to tie into her plans.
• Rubi - A femboy found at the Bakery, who can be given an assortment of clothing and become the player's lover.

Probably human

Giacomo - No specific information available but the description of him doesn't mention any inhuman traits. Also, Marble mentions in her dialogue that the only human she's seen except for the player is Giacomo. Amily (defurred) - After drinking the defurring potion, Amily still keeps her mouse ears and tail, but in all other ways, she's human. Quinn - No specific information is available but the description of him doesn't mention any significant inhuman traits. Yara - Originally a human off-worlder who gained cat ears and a cat tail from eating Whisker Fruit. That would give her a cat score of 2 which usually isn't enough to be regarded as a cat-morph.

Becoming Human

Unless you've chosen a Custom PC Profile, you start the game as a human but chances are that you soon transform into some other race.

Most players seem quite happy about their transformations and show no desire to revert to human. But if you do, there are some ways:

• The hard way
  • There are numerous potions and items that may allow you to regain human traits one by one. But all of them may trigger other undesired transformations which need to be countered by other potions which again have their side effects. Unless you're extremely lucky, you'll have to consume an enormous amount of potions before you eventually reach full humanity this way. Or almost full humanity, at least - there are some transformations that can't be reversed.
• The slightly easier way
  • Save the game before each potion you take. If you don't like the result, reload and try again.
• The easy way
  • Save editing allows you to easily change into any form and shape you like, as long as it is supported in the game. Some may regard this as cheating but the official view is that it isn't.
• The brutal way
  • Quit the game and start anew. An please be more careful what you eat and drink this time. It is possible to go through the entire game with no non-human transformations!
• The cheat
  • There is actually a cheat item, hummus, that will transform you into a human. It plays havoc on your stats though and you have to endure being called a cheat. Also, you can only do it once for each character. Trying it a second time results in a Bad End.
  • Hummus does not alter your skin tone so you should use Golden Seeds to gain the skin tone you want before you use the hummus.
  • Hummus does not reverse the effects of Bimbo Liqueur or Bro Brew. If you've drunk one or both of those potions at some time, you're stuck.

Fully reversible transformations

These non-human transformations can be reversed by various potions:

• Face
  • Sweet Gossamer can revert all face types except spider to human.
  • If you have a spider face, you need to transform it to something else first, then use Sweet Gossamer.
• Ears
  • Golden Seed can revert all ear types except elfin ears to human.
  • If you have elfin ears, you need to transform to something else first. The best and safest option is probably to eat Fox Berries untill you've gained fox ears but there are numerous other options as well.
• Eyes
  • 
    If you have grown more eyes than usual for humans, there are several potions that can reverse the effect:
    • Canine Pepper
    • Equinum
    • Reptilum
    • Golden Seed
    • Goblin Ale
    • Kanga Fruit
    • Shark Tooth
    • Trap Oil
  • Apparently there is at least one potion to change sand trap eyes into human but no information is currently available as to which one(s).
• Horns
  • Bee Honey can remove any horns you may have grown.
• Hair type
  • Bee Honey can change anemone hair to human.
  • Ectoplasm can change goo hair to transparent human.
  • Other hair types have to be transformed to anemone first.
• Hair color
  • Perhaps not essential for a human transformation but there are several perfectly safe potions and effects that can change your hair to a human color. See the Hair Color page for more details.
• Antennae
  • Snake Oil can remove antennae.
• Gills
  • Reptilum, Neon Pink Egg, Minotaur Blood, LaBova, Snake Oil, Whisker Fruit, Kanga Fruit, Golden Seed, Goblin Ale, Canine Pepper, and Sweet Gossamer can remove gills.
• Arms
  • Canine Pepper and Goblin Ale can change spidery or feathery arms into human ones.
• Skin type
  • Sweet Gossamer can change fur, scales and goo skin into regular skin.
  • LaBova can change smooth, rubber, latex, milky, ashen and slimy skin into regular.
• Skin tone (color)
  • Golden Seed can change your skin tone into any of the four default human ones. Which one you get (if any) is random though.
• Breasts
  • If you have more breasts than what are common for humans, there are several potions you can use (eg. Goblin Ale, Golden Seed, Special Honey, Minotaur Blood, Sweet Gossamer). One or more Large Blue Eggs (one for each row you want to remove) is probably the best option.
• Nipples
  • If you have too many nipples, you can remove some by using Pure Honey or Sweet Gossamer. It is possible that Regular Giant Bee Honey will work too but that needs to be confirmed.
  • Fuckable nipples are trickier to deal with (see list of transformations reversible with side effects below).
  • Dark and black nipples can be changed back to normal with a Golden Seed.
• Wings
  • Snake Oil can remove wings.
• Tail
  • 
    A shriveled tentacle can remove a bee abdomen.
  • Other tails have to be transformed to a bee abdomen (using Bee Honey) first.
• Penis and testicles
  • The easiest way to replace one or more non-human penises and any excessive amount of testicles is to first use one or more Pink Eggs to remove all male genitalia then a Purified Incubi Draft to grow a new human penis and a Succubus' Dream to gain some balls.
  • Alternatively, Ectoplasm will occasionally transform non-human penises to human.
• Vagina
  • If you have a black sand trap vagina or just want a brand new, tight, virginal pussy instead of your old worn-out one, you can use a Blue Egg to remove your old one, then a Purified Succubi Milk to grow a new.
• Lower body
  • Sweet Gossamer and Black Gossamer can change centaur, naga, slime and pony lower bodies into human.
  • Other lower body types have to be transformed into one of those first.

Reversible with side effects

• Fuckable nipples
  • Apparently the only ways to change fuckable nipples into regular ones are either to get the Omnibus Overseer to change them or to use Bro Brew and both these methods have serious, irreversible side effects. But you can of course reduce your nipple size (with Reducto or by asking Shouldra) as much as possible and hope nobody notices.
• Basilisk womb
  • If you have gained a basilisk womb, you'll keep laying eggs once or twice a month for as long as you have a fertile vagina. The solutions are either to go all male or genderless or to use a Brown Pill to become completely infertile. If you choose the second option, you can use a Pink Pill to restore your fertility whenever you want to get pregnant. There is of course a third option: make sure you're always pregnant.

Irreversible transformations

These transformations can not be reversed just by using potions:

• Tongue
  • There is no potion that can transform your tongue back to human. A demonic tongue (gained from non-purified Incubi Draft or Succubi Milk) is the closest you can get. Then again, a demonic tongue shouldn't look too conspicuous - at least not if you happen to play in a glamrock band. Snake oil heavily promotes transforming the demon tongue back to snake.
• Transparent legs
  • Once a ghost, always a ghost...
• Bimbo, Bro and Futa effects
  • These are not really non-human transformations and are essentially irreversible, even with hummus. It is possible to reverse the Bimbo Brain perk though (but not the Bimbo Body one).

Calculating your human score

Your human score doesn't really have any practical function here. The requirement for being classified as a human is that none of the other transformative scores are high enough to qualify for some other race. It is a part of your stats though and can be handy if you want to keep track of exactly how much humanity you've kept:
