Garth nods slowly. "Speaking of which, there's something you should know, [pc.name]. A couple days after the explosion, hunters started pouring back into town babbling about plant creatures attacking them, animals gone mad. Some didn't come back at all. Between that and the orc tribes east of here showing their faces after the storm, folk are afraid to leave town."

That can't be a coincidence, can it? You sigh. "If we believe what Kasyrra said about coming to take my soul, not to mention her threatening to corrupt the whole world like herself, then I've got to find her. For my sake and everyone else's."

State Acquisition Description
0 Upon waking up after having encountered Kasyrra for the first time You were recruited by Cait, a cat-girl priestess, to help save her sister from a band of kidnappers. After a confrontation with the cultists, her sister, Calla, was thrown through a portal — a tear in the veil between worlds. Soon after, the portal exploded. You would have been killed, except a demoness came through the portal just as it collapsed, and by happenstance shielded you from the falling debris.

The demoness identified herself as Kasyrra, and claimed she would steal your soul. You slipped into unconsciousness after that, sleeping for more than a week.

When you woke, you were told that there was a tremendous explosion that lit up the foothills, and a winged shape was seen flying north. Kasyrra. Now, people are being attacked by monsters in the old forest... no way that's a coincidence. Find the source of the attacks, and you find Kasyrra.

1 If the Champion had learned of the bridge through the Effigies It appears the attacks on villagers in the forest are the work of a "Mother Alraune", an ally of Kasyrra. According to her daughters, the Alraune is located in the northernmost part of the Old Forest, near the old stone bridge
1a If the Champion had learned of the bridge through the Forest Kitsune You've learned that the way north to the Frostwood is barred by a Mother Alraune, who is almost certainly also the source of the Old Forest's corruption. The bridge near her lair is located in the northernmost section of the Old Forest
2 Upon successfully defeating the Alraune and her Herald The Alraune you encountered in the heart of the corrupted garden was indeed planted in your way by Kasyrra herself. All the chaos and mutations in the forest can now be laid squarely at the hooves of your demonic foe. According to the Alraune, she went north across the river and has not returned to the garden since. There's only one crossing point, it seems, so that's your next goal.
3 Upon defeating or being defeated by the Imp swarm and learning of Kasyrra's plan The demon Kasyrra left you reeling at the gates of the river fortress, taking wing to the north. She claims to have had business unfinished in the Frostwood. Explore the cold forest beyond the river and you will no doubt come upon the demon's machinations once more.
4 Upon reaching Winter City and hearing Queen Alissa's speech You and Princess Etheryn saw her sister, Alissa, address the people of the Winter City. There's little doubt in your mind now: Kasyrra has gotten to her first, and the Gods only know what she's done inside the palace. You must find a way inside... though the front door seems sealed.
5 Upon completing the Palace of Ice and Act One. You engaged Alissa within the Palace of Ice, driving her to the rooftops. There, she gave birth to a horde of imps — Kasyrra's demonic spawn — and you watched her soul fall free from her body, turning into a crystal which Kasyrra stole away. The two demons and their supporters flew south, escaping. Now you've shown the Winter City what's become of their queen, but you're no closer to stopping Kasyrra. Perhaps there will be new leads back south?

This is as far as this quest progresses for now.

Progress

Old Forest

While exploring the Old Forest, you can learn about the Alraune from either a group of Effigies or the Forest Kitsune. The corrupted plant is stationed at the northern exit of the forest and must be defeated to pursue Kasyrra.

Upon entering the Corrupted Garden where the Alraune resides, you encounter the Effigy Herald and more Effigies. Appropriate stealthy Champions (Thief class, or the Hunter or Slum Rat backgrounds) will be able to get a surprise attack, otherwise you will be forced into combat. Losing will result in a Bad End.

If you are successful in combat, the Alraune will confront you. Losing to her will again result in a Bad End, otherwise you defeat her and can Question her, before you decide whether to Dominate or Kill her.

Frostwood

Travelling north through the Frostwood will lead to another confrontation with Kasyrra. She's recently birthed some Imps and sends them to attack you. The imps violate you and your companions with Kasyrra's blessing if you lose, however it will not result in a bad end. If you're victorious, Kasyrra will offer herself to you as the spoils of war. Whether you choose to have sex with her or not, she will leave you with the Blue Gemstone Stud if not acquired during the Tutorial and invite you to meet her again in the Winter City, past the Frostwood.

Winter City

As you reach the gates of the Winter City, you are confronted by Gytha and her warg Demon's Shadow. You must defeat the pair to gain access to the Winter City, though losing does not cause a bad end. Once victorious, you can Interrogate Gytha for information on what's happening in the city, or accept her offer to claim your spoils. It definitely seems Kasyrra's been here already.

Once you overcome Gytha and are able to enter the city, you and Etheryn witness Queen Alissa addressing the city. She reveals that she's pregnant with a new heir from her new beau, who you're able to deduce from the speech and what Gytha may have told you is Kasyrra. To save the palace and protect the city, you're going to have to infiltrate the Palace of Ice.

If Dog Days was completed peacefully, as you make your way to the palace gardens you encounter Hethia. Etheryn explains the situation to the druidess, and she makes herself available to join your party for the infiltration if need be.

You receive a bolded warning that the Palace of Ice dungeon is the end of Act One. Princess Etheryn is required for the dungeon, she will join as a guest companion if she is not in the party. If Etheryn is in the party and Hethia is available, Hethia will instead join as a guest companion for the duration of the dungeon.

Palace of Ice

Entering the palace, there are two subsequent ability checks — one for strength, and one for agility. If you fail both, you will suffer the Fatigued status. It's recommended you first head down into the basement and travel to the east to collect Etheryn's Queenly Raiment set. You will need to use Ryn's Blood or Ryn's Cum to unseal the vault, leading to either a small health penalty for Etheryn or a small resolve penalty for you. Back on the main floor, you can also Take a Drink from the royal vintage to grant a party-wide Winterberry Wine bonus.

Travel to the central intersection of the first floor to encounter the heavily corrupted Guard-Captain Jael'yn. She and her Elf Guards will attack, resulting in a Bad End if you're defeated. If you defeat her, you can Talk to her for more information on what's ahead. She reveals the way forward is magically sealed and she doesn't know how to open it. Once you're done talking or fucking her, you Capture her using an obedience collar and can decide whether to send her to The Frost Hound or the Ruined Wayfort. The game warns you that sending her to the Wayfort would likely complete her corruption.

The way north is blocked by a magic butthole lock, and if you try to head south, the guards by the front door will prevent you from leaving. Therefore, the only way forward is to the Chapel of Lumia which Jael'yn described as a 'public cum dump'. You find Elthara, insensate and sprawled out on her altar with a massive dick-shaped scepter that would fit the magic gate. Unfortunately the scepter is presently protruding out of her anus. Trying to retrieve the scepter leads to another fight which can result in a varying depending on which companions are with you if you lose. If you win, you take the scepter and have the option of sating the priestesses corrupted libido.

Returning to the gate to the north, you can use the dick scepter to unlock it. You or Arona can have fun trying to pick the butthole lock with your cocks, though it will be to no avail. Once you're through, you find a heavily Queen Alissa orally servicing Kasyrra as the demoness works on her great machine. Kasyrra doesn't have time for you yet, so she sends Queen Alissa to fight you. Alissa has special dialogue options depending on Etheryn's confidence and if Hethia is present. If she defeats you it leads to a Bad End, otherwise Kas will dismiss Alissa to go upstairs and prepare to give birth. You can chat cordially with Kasyrra (or Attack Her) before getting to Witness Her unleash her creation.

Here, the quest diverges based on your relationship with Kasyrra. You can find more information here; being Lustful or Hostile will set you on the Rivalry path, or being Romantic will set you on the Romantic path.

Rivalry path

Kasyrra opens her portal successfully. Aileh and more of Kas's dragon-daughters come through, however lightning strikes the machine before she is able to bring her full legions through. Cursing, Kasyrra orders her dragon warriors to seize the nearby elven nobles and fly to her laboratory elsewhere. But first, Queen Alissa is giving birth on the palace rooftops.

You pursue Kasyrra up to the rooftops (although you can collect the Royal Leathers from the second floor along the way), where you can Wait, or Pick Fight to do battle with the demoness. Whatever happens, Queen Alissa gives birth to several Imps and loses her soul. Kasyrra flies away with her daughters, leaving you to deal with Alissa who's turned into a demon in full view of the people of Winter City. Etheryn finds the nerve to repel her abusive older sister with her bow.

Following the Queen's fall, Etheryn is appointed Princess-Regent, with her first priority to be to bring Queen Alissa in for justice for her crimes against the Winter City.

Romantic path

Kasyrra opens the portal, but Aileh erupts in a panic shouting for her mother to close the portal. As more of Kasyrra's daughters come through, they are consumed by an Abyssal Thing who pushes into the realm and engulfs dragon and elf alike. You and Kasyrra team up to do battle against the thing and its Corrupt Spawn, but the Abyssal Thing is impervious to damage.

When everything seems hopeless, Lumia appears in a blinding flash of sunlight. She does battle with the Abyssal Thing, leaving you and Kasyrra to mop up the corrupt spawn. There's a Bad End if you lose. If you defeat the spawn, you can either hug Kasyrra or give her a more intimate farewell. Once you're done, you realise that after everything, Queen Alissa is still about to give birth.

You reunite with your companions and head to the rooftops (collecting Alissa's Royal Leathers on the way), where you witness Alissa lose her soul birthing imps and become a demon. She goes to attack Etheryn, who repels her with her bow. Same as the other path, Etheryn is appointed regent and leads the charge (with your assistance, obviously) to bring her sister to justice.

Reward

For defeating the Alraune, you receive:

For defeating Gytha to enter Winter City, you can claim:

Over the course of the Palace of Ice, you collect the following notable loot defeating the mini-bosses in the palace.
