Instead of micromanaging a companion's equipment, companions have companion sets that will change their weapons and attire, perks, stats, and powers. These sets can be found and changed at the Character section in the Journal while the desired companion is present in the party.
Agnimitra
Flamewing
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description An outfit consisting of three Flame Capes, hand-sewn together by Agnimitra herself. The style is minimalistic and open, reminiscent of her home culture in Tronarii, leaving much of her skin exposed — it was designed to keep her decent, nothing more. The flame-repellant material of the outfit adds to her already-formidable resistance to heat. An ordinary hand-plucked five-string instrument, bought off a street vendor. The instrument is about as long as Agnimitra's arm. It has a wide base and a thin neck, with a sound hole placed right at the top of the body. It's not exactly a formidable weapon... but the wood it's made of is solid enough that a person could swing it by the neck and it'd work as a makeshift club in a pinch. (same as set description) |

Arona
Warhides
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description Arona's armor, made from padded boar's hide and heavy boiled leather. Calling it skimpy would probably be far too conservative: her clothes are nothing more than a strap across her black nipples to hold back her heavy tits, a pair of crotch-hugging shorts and loincloth that seem designed from the ground up to emphasize her masculine bulge, and her boots. With one well-timed flex, you're pretty sure Arona could shred most of her outfit on her chiseled muscles — all the better to get her cock out and start fucking at a moment's notice. (same as set description) Arona's massive bronze two-handed hammer, a personal favorite of the island amazon. She's used it through countless raids and boarding parties to devastating effect. |

Chieftain's Bronze
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description A suit of bronze armor made by the Kervus' master smith on special order for Arona once she became the tribe's chieftain. This armor is bulky enough to leave Arona free to focus all her efforts on massive two-handed hammer swings, forgoing her shield and any attempt at active defense for a berserker's charge in the vanguard, leading her comrades to victory in her wake! (same as set description) Arona's massive bronze two-handed hammer, a personal favorite of the island amazon. She's used it through countless raids and boarding parties to devastating effect. |

Berserker
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description In her exile, Arona has picked up an even more ferocious fighting style than before. She's forgone her shield—choosing instead to focus all her strength into her mighty hammer—picked up some tricks from Garth, covered herself with blue warpaint, and honed her rage into a weapon all its own. Seems the orc will be leading the charge in the future. (same as set description) Arona's massive bronze two-handed hammer, a personal favorite of the island amazon. Spirit Totem
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description Where once Arona carried her trademark Mastbreaker, she now bears The Nightfang, a great runic axe crafted specifically for spectre slaying by Viviane. Around her shoulders and covering her head is a wolfskin cloak, with the head of the beast functioning as a pseudo-helmet. And a tool for intimidation. It seems she now has a way to properly face her fears. Arona's Viviane-crafted greataxe. Made specifically to help her overcome her fear of ghosts, this weapon glows with magic power that guarantees that the orc's swings will cut into any and all ethereal foes she encounters. Largely the same as her typical warhides, Arona now wears her wolfen cloak along with it. Crafted by Viviane and warded against foes from beyond the grave, this outfit's headdress does come at the cost of some of the sexiness her choice of clothing usually provides. |

Atugia
Knight Set
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description A one piece vest made of tough but flexible spider silk cloth. Atugia is able to move with ease while wearing it, and the attached skirt is barely long enough to leave anything to the imagination. A pair of sturdy boots are oft left out entirely when the ground is less treacherous, but nevertheless complete the outfit. A lack of lower coverage sometimes leads to her opponents being given a nice view... Atugia utilizes a charcoal tipped wood focus, and the magic of her markings to summon various weapons. These weapons are powered by her will, made of raw solidified magical energy. Her favorite is a two handed halberd, capable of much swifter movements than its appearance belies. A one piece jerkin, meant to cover the sensitive parts of the body while allowing the wearer to retain freedom of movement. The surface is peppered with protective charms and runes of fortification, meant to keep the wearer safe from the harms of adventuring. |

Runic Berserker Set
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description A combination of Southern runic magic and the fury of orcish battle frenzy. Runes that normally channel the aspects of one’s ancestors can be used to funnel repressed rage from that same source. While still protective of one’s allies, this set is geared toward making the threats disappear. A chest wrap and a thick pelt designed to give the wearer the greatest possible freedom of movement. It provides less coverage than a vest and can't truly be called armor, but it shows off your dullahan companion's physique while allowing the flow of magic to protect her better than a suit of armor ever could. A burned charcoal foci that forms a twisting curl of axe shaped lightning. It never keeps a solid shape, twisting and writhing like a living thing. If the focus is lost, the axe will dissipate. |

Brint & Brienne
Wayfarer's Leathers
Description | CG | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
Set Description
Brint's road-worn leathers. The most eye-catching part of his bare-chested ensemble is a thick loincloth that carries a particularly masculine aroma built up over the minotaur's long journey. While this kit may not provide the best protection, it's easy to move in — perfect for a two-fisted whirlwind of a berzerker. What's better than an axe? An axe on a big, long haft that lets you hit people further away from you! Poleaxes are heavier and less agile than a normal battleaxe or spears, but they pack immense punch and can chop through armor. These weapons are favored by orcish raiders, whose second ranks can swing these immense axes over their shield walls. One of the oldest weapons on the books, a mace is a glorified hunk of metal on a short stick. It hits hard, and only the heaviest armor can fully block the punishing blows this weapon deals out. Rough fabric wrapped around Brint's waist and secured by a leather strap. Paired with ornamental wristguards. His equipment doesn't look like much, but they are made of high-quality material. |

Obtained after defeating the Spectral Smith at the Frozen Tower in the Glacial Rift | A shield made of solid ice, rectangular and large enough to protect all of Brint's massive frame. Obtained from the Temple of Terrestrial Fire in Frostwood | A set of sensual cloth imbued with powerful magic that enables Brienne to wield the element of fire like second nature. Though it appears ragged and worn, it fits her well — if a little snugly in the chest. | Conjured Flame (dual-wielded)
Fire that bursts from Brienne's gloves at the slightest urging. It wreathes her hands, wrapping around her fingers as though it were a living thing. They don't seem to answer to anyone but the minogirl herself. |

A hood, skirt, corset, and a set of leggings, each of them faded red or black with bits of leather along the outline of the top to provide structural support. Cait
Passion Priestess Garb
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description Cait's passion priestess attire, consisting of a skirt, boots, and cleavage-bearing blouse. While sensual, these articles are primarily designed to help the budding mage channel her magics. Made of solid oak and bent into a circle at its tip, Cait's staff is a heavy implement of a long-wandering, road-weary traveler. Still, the heart-shaped ruby within its crown shines as brightly as the Jassiran sun. Her staff might be hefty, but it's sturdy enough to hit hard when she needs it, and long enough to give her some room between herself and would-be attackers. Cait's standard attire is a sinfully short skirt and a sheer white top that shows off a lot of cleavage and belly. While hardly practical here up north, her garments are the standard attire of a Jassiran priestess of the distant desert lands. Now they look as much like the skimpy attire of a charmer as they do that of a holy woman. |

Sun-Dancer's Silks
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description Beautiful silks and veils, jewelry and sensual perfumes, straight from the heart of Mallach's faith in sun-kissed Jassira. This alluring outfit leaves precious little to the imagination, letting Cait strut her stuff like the desert harlot she was raised to be. Made of solid oak and bent into a circle at its tip, Cait's staff is a heavy implement of a long-wandering, road-weary traveler. Still, the heart-shaped ruby within its crown shines as brightly as the Jassiran sun. Hexblade Leathers
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description A set of firm leather armor, including an underbust corset, boots, gloves, and a jaunty hat — all dyed red. Cait says this armor reminds her of her sister, Calla, and insisted on keeping it after she saved an enslaved gnoll from a centaur pack's deprivations. When she wears this armor, Cait sets aside her healer's staff and instead weaves deadly offensive magic through an enchanted spellblade. Spiraled Blade but salamandery. (same as set description) |

Vestal's Raiment
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description Clad in blessed bronze and bearing a shielding tome once wielded by a Mallachite paladin, Cait has the power and confidence to step up to the vanguard and lead her comrades on holy crusade. With this set, she's able to draw the ire of her enemies to herself, layer herself in protective magics, and can strike down those who would do her harm with Mallach's blinding light. A blessed tome of Mallachite spellcraft, hardened by magic to be as hard as a shield in combat. This was carried by Ivris's father long ago, when he was a traveling friar of the Prince of Passion, and has now been handed down to Cait to help safeguard her as she defends Hawkethorne. A set of lightly-enchanted scale armor presented to Cait by Ogrish and Ivris, the town's premier craftsmen, to help her better stand in the vanguard of Hawkethorne's defense. Combined with her own holy vestments, this gear grants Cait a tremendous resistance to physical and magical harm. |

Etheryn
Outrider's Gear
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description A set of relatively plain hunting leathers, though they're made of superior craftsmanship. Etheryn finds these comfortable and familiar. It consists of simple hunting garb and a short skirt, with a leather vest, guards, and boots to offer some modicum of protection from whatever beasts she may track. One of her gloves has been replaced with a large falconry gauntlet, giving her the ability to call down and commune with her war-hawk. A slender alabaster-colored bow of Boer'alvar make. Obviously magical in nature, it has no bowstring, nor does it require arrows, and feels slightly cool to the touch. (same as Whitewood Bow) A simple but expertly-crafted set of leather hunting armor over a dark green tunic. The design is clearly northern, and is well suited for the lithe and acrobatic fighting style of the boreal elves. The physical protection this set offers is lacking in comparison to harder, heavier armors from the southlands. The original crown of House Ridell, broken in twain with the schism between Queen Atheldred and her consort Synneva. |

Queenly Raiment
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description A beautiful dress fit for a warrior-queen, made up of rich white silks and hardened white leather, accompanied by a holy spear bearing Lumia's sunburst. This royal attire was commissioned by Queen Alissa of the Winter City for her little sister, ostensibly in recognition of Etheryn's royal heritage... but it bears an uncanny resemblance to a Belharan wedding dress, hinting to Alissa's true intentions for her half-sexed sibling. A towering greatspear of boreal-elven origin, outfitted with a long blade and a sturdy crossguard. Designed originally for hunting the savage northern wargs and boars, but when the Belharan Empire first invaded the North, these spears proved they were perfect for tearing through southern armor. They have since become a status symbol for elven nobility. Wyldkin
Description | CG | |
---|---|---|
Set Description "Perilous is the Wyld, merciless its wrath." This ensemble of forester's leathers, bow and quiver filled with poison-tipped arrows is the creation of several elder druids who worked to infuse their creation with the destructive facets of their faith. It focuses upon applying and manipulating poisons to bypass the defenses of agile but physically delicate foes by primarily targeting Physical Resistance instead of Evasion. While pale elf bowyers favor whitewood when one wants to impress, wood from silverthorn saplings is favored for its suitability for shortbows. Bows crafted from silverthorn wood are powerful for their size, better suited to close quarters, and more easily concealed; what they lack in power compared to whitewood greatbows and longbows can be made up for with poison drawn from the silverthorn tree's flowers. Firm-fitting leathers with a cloak and headwrap for protection from the elements. Dyed all over in irregular patterns, the exact colors of the outfit shift to match the wearer's surroundings and provide effective camouflage in most temperate wildernesses. A fine work of druidic craftsmanship indeed, infused with enchantments to ward off most ills of the natural world and perfect for the outdoorsy type. The original crown of House Ridell, broken in twain with the schism between Queen Atheldred and her consort Synneva. |

Warrior Queen
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description A glorious raiment of war, forged by the hands of Lumia's Valkyries and blessed by the goddess's own hands. This equipment was granted to Etheryn by the Argent Wing shortly after her crowning, so that like her grandmother before her the new Elvenqueen can stand fearlessly at the vanguard of a holy crusade to rid the world of darkness. So equipped, Queen Etheryn can protect her allies with her shield and lead her allies to heights of heroism. Much like the dorata of the southlands, this spear is made of ashwood and bronze, but unlike most southern spears, white-glowing Lumian runes are etched in the leaf-bladed head. When you get close to it, a feeling of quiet determination fills your entire being. Although the elaborate Lumian decorations on this large, round aspis make it look like a ceremonial piece at first glance, the enchantments that thrum within make it an excellent defense against many forms of corrupted magic. Kanso
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description A school of geomancy developed in Kitushon, kanso was intended for the beautification and spiritual defense of homes and fortifications, but the techniques developed have been adapted for personal defense. Focusing on simplicity and the flow of ki in a space, it seeks to divert malicious intents and energies around someone like a stream about a boulder rather than meet it head-on. While defensive in nature, this set does not primarily seek to heal incurred damage, but prevent it from being inflicted in the first place through means of shields and damage mitigation. Viviane
Enchantress Set
Description | CG | ||
---|---|---|---|
Set Description Viviane's classic attire, consisting of her black dress, witch hat, and shoes, along with an ornate staff. Every piece of this outfit seems to bristle with magic, and serves to help her imbue other items with it as well. A solid ash staff. It's simple in shape, with much of the natural shape retained along its length, offset only by an iridescent gemstone at its top. The shaft does, however, glow ever-so-slightly, as a result of the electrum runes and thus the enchantments laid into it. Viv's typical outfit, composed of her black dress, shoes, and hat, perfectly fitting for a "witch of the woods" like her. Each one accents her sexuality, teasing without becoming indecent. |
