Perks are bonuses that provide a character with special abilities or increased attributes for combat and non-combat purposes. Most of them are permanent and will remain active while the conditions for their acquisition or activation remain in place. Perks can be gained through a different number of ways such as during Character Creation, events, through attaining certain class levels, and etc.

Obtainable Perks

Class Perks

Class Perks are lost if the Champion swaps classes. They will be able to obtain those perks again if they swap back to the class, and fulfill the other acquisition/use requirements.

Starting Attribute Bonuses

Classified under miscellaneous perks, Starting Attribute Bonuses are permanent bonuses that are given to a character based on their starting race, class, and background. It should be noted that the player can only choose: Human, Wyld Elf, Catfolk, Lupine, or Orc as their starting race.

 Your victory at the Winter City has filled you with determination. Your HP is increased by +20. Obtained by completing Winter City
Soulbound
  • The corruption icon (at the bottom left of the screen) will be replaced with the token of the corresponding deity
  • Will incur a permanent transformation into a Kitsune or Valkyrie or whatever other god chosen race.
    • Being a kitsune will change how other NPCs treat the champion
    • Unlocks race-related abilities
  • The topic or effects of being soulbound may come up in a few minor scenes
  • If known to Kasyrra, she will not be pleased
 You are dead inside. Keros/Lumia has laid claim to your soul.

The requirements to obtain a Soulbound offer are:

  • Completed associated quests related to the deity in question
  • Does not already have Soulbound perk

Light Sensitivity This unit must make a Mental Resistance check when taking fire damage or will be stunned.
Medicae You have a [X]% chance of clearing Poison and Bleed from yourself each round.

Perk Removal

Repeating what was previously stated: "Class Perks are lost if the Champion swaps classes. They will be able to obtain those perks again if they swap back to the class, and fulfill the other acquisition/use requirements." Most, if not all, of the removable perks are Sexual perks.
