Companion Sets

Instead of micromanaging a companion's equipment, companions have companion sets that will change their weapons and attire, perks, stats, and powers. These sets can be found and changed at the Character section in the Journal while the desired companion is present in the party.

Set Description An outfit consisting of three Flame Capes, hand-sewn together by Agnimitra herself. The style is minimalistic and open, reminiscent of her home culture in Tronarii, leaving much of her skin exposed — it was designed to keep her decent, nothing more. The flame-repellant material of the outfit adds to her already-formidable resistance to heat. Gittern (primary) An ordinary hand-plucked five-string instrument, bought off a street vendor. The instrument is about as long as Agnimitra's arm. It has a wide base and a thin neck, with a sound hole placed right at the top of the body. It's not exactly a formidable weapon... but the wood it's made of is solid enough that a person could swing it by the neck and it'd work as a makeshift club in a pinch. Set Description A one piece vest made of tough but flexible spider silk cloth. Atugia is able to move with ease while wearing it, and the attached skirt is barely long enough to leave anything to the imagination. A pair of sturdy boots are oft left out entirely when the ground is less treacherous, but nevertheless complete the outfit. A lack of lower coverage sometimes leads to her opponents being given a nice view... Summoned Halberd (primary) Atugia utilizes a charcoal tipped wood focus, and the magic of her markings to summon various weapons. These weapons are powered by her will, made of raw solidified magical energy. Her favorite is a two handed halberd, capable of much swifter movements than its appearance belies. Set Description A combination of Southern runic magic and the fury of orcish battle frenzy. Runes that normally channel the aspects of one’s ancestors can be used to funnel repressed rage from that same source. While still protective of one’s allies, this set is geared toward making the threats disappear. Berserker's Pelt (armor) A chest wrap and a thick pelt designed to give the wearer the greatest possible freedom of movement. It provides less coverage than a vest and can't truly be called armor, but it shows off your dullahan companion's physique while allowing the flow of magic to protect her better than a suit of armor ever could. Set Description Cait's passion priestess attire, consisting of a skirt, boots, and cleavage-bearing blouse. While sensual, these articles are primarily designed to help the budding mage channel her magics. Walking Staff (primary) Made of solid oak and bent into a circle at its tip, Cait's staff is a heavy implement of a long-wandering, road-weary traveler. Still, the heart-shaped ruby within its crown shines as brightly as the Jassiran sun. Her staff might be hefty, but it's sturdy enough to hit hard when she needs it, and long enough to give her some room between herself and would-be attackers. Silverthorn Bow (primary) While pale elf bowyers favor whitewood when one wants to impress, wood from silverthorn saplings is favored for its suitability for shortbows. Bows crafted from silverthorn wood are powerful for their size, better suited to close quarters, and more easily concealed; what they lack in power compared to whitewood greatbows and longbows can be made up for with poison drawn from the silverthorn tree's flowers. Set Description Viviane's classic attire, consisting of her black dress, witch hat, and shoes, along with an ornate staff. Every piece of this outfit seems to bristle with magic, and serves to help her imbue other items with it as well. Enchantress's Staff (primary) A solid ash staff. It's simple in shape, with much of the natural shape retained along its length, offset only by an iridescent gemstone at its top. The shaft does, however, glow ever-so-slightly, as a result of the electrum runes and thus the enchantments laid into it. Witch's Dress (armor) Viv's typical outfit, composed of her black dress, shoes, and hat, perfectly fitting for a "witch of the woods" like her.
