Her sisters have turned into sex fiends, devoid of reason and her mother, no longer the glorious warrior and now a bimbo incessant in spreading her eggs throughout the forest, regardless if anyone is willing or not. She assumes that since the hive has a single main pool for nectar, that the corrupted pollen has triggered a breeding frenzy in her mother. She wants the pool purified and hopes that the damage can be undone, as she was able to shrug off the corrupting influence and flee.

Rendezvousing with Azyrran and Liaden will have Azyrran comment that she is grateful that the Champion found a lovely paladin to help them. If the Champion has Low Trust (< 1) with Azyrran, rendezvousing with them will have the Champion see Azyrran smiling and talking to Liaden, only for her expression change to caution once the Champion arrives, and she thanks the Champion for finding a lovely paladin for the extra assistance, if the sudden change of Azyrran's expression bothers Liaden, she doesn't show it. Regardless of the Trust, Liaden formulates a plan; that she can take advantage of the corrupted hornets by distracting them with her ass and running for it, while Azyrran takes the Champion to the hive and defeats the queen. Liaden is able to taunt at least three dozen bimbo workers, which allows Azyrran and the Champion to make their way to the entrance of the hive undetected. Should Azyrran be present, Prince Nyze will call out the traitor, while she demands that he give them his key as they are going to speak to their mother. He replies that he can't as she is an exile, and their mother has nothing to say to her. If the Champion had not brought Azyrran, he will simply call out that they are not one of the hive. Regardless, he snaps his fingers, and hornets rush to him, providing him his attire and whip. Once dressed, he proclaims his name and a fight begins.

Liaden formulates a plan by taking advantage of the corrupted hornets' desire to spread their queen's egg - that she'll run decoy by tempting the guards and have them chase her while Azyrran and the Champion sneak into the hive and beat up the queen.

Tending to a scientific array  that produces a potion of a sickly-purple concoction is a hornet woman, whom unlike her sisters is not entirely bimbofied, and is intrigued by the Champion's presence as visitors are a rarity. Jyrranaz ​introduces herself and welcomes them to her study. When asked what she's studying, she answers with a question, asking what makes a queen versparan a queen, which the Champion answers that it is her birthright. Acknowledging the answer, she explains that she's been experimenting with different mixtures of venom so see if any mixture could produce the same attributes of a queen, and whether the status of a queen can be granted instead of inherited. When asked why, she answers that she met [[Kasyrra]], who she believed was worthy of being their queen. In the armory, the [[Rosebloom Shield]] rests on a display stand, surrounded by candles and wild roses. Should she be present and the shield remains, Azyrran will explain that the shield was carried by the Hive's founder, Queen Lyzzerahn. Azyrran states that in her mother's current state, the Queen wouldn't object if the Champion took the shield to help in their quest to bring her back to her senses.

Regardless if the Champion decided to fuck the Queen or not, the Champion will ask her, what happened when she met Kasyrra. She explains that Kasyrra challenged them and won, and as the victory, they will follow her wishes. The plan was for the hornets to take over the whole forest, grow even bigger flowers, and conquer all the bees; one great big hive with Queen Nyzerrah in charge of it all, while Kasyrra gets all the other stuff, which the hornets don't care about. Before, the hornets primarily had to take honey from the bees, but now Queen Nyzerrah's honey makes all of her girls big-boobed; capable of producing honey as well. She states that since the Champion won, they'll do as the Champion says as long as it doesn't hurt the hornets, to which the Champion orders them to stop raping people and making bimbos, especially since if they keep that up, Kasyrra will steal her and her daughters' souls. Queen Nyzerrah giggles at that and waves it off, saying that nobody can take a soul, the Champion insists it's true, but moves on and restates their order. Dejected at the order, she clarifies that the Champion's telling them to do the complete opposite of the orders of someone who also beat them, so the hornets will do what the Champion wants, but should the Champion and Kasyrra fight, the winner gets their demand kept. Although the Champion's orders are boring, she agrees to follow it and shows proof of her seriousness by giving them her ring: the [[Hornet Ring]].

Wrapping it up, the Champion asks Azyrran is she's ready to leave, to which she replies that she's not leaving, that she still worries about the hive and it hurts to be away from her sisters. The Champion understands her point, but suggests she could travel with them, and then stay at the hive the rest of the time. Eager with the prospect, Azyrran states that she would like that a lot, but she cannot leave the hive in its current state. When the asked what if the Champion could cure the hive, she answers that, then she would love to. With that, the Champion departs leaves the hive, but not before Azyrran gives her thanks and a shy kiss peck on the lips. The Champion will receive the [[Fatigued]] status effect.

Detailed Summary

The Hive Knight: Encounter

The Champion will first encounter Azyrran in the tile before the Wayfort. As they make their way through the forest, and further into the corrupted parts of it, the Champion will hear the sound of angry buzzings and girlish laughter. Cautiously, they see a woman fighting against a group of effigies with a wolf. The leader spots the Champion, and they are forced into the Effigy Ambush fight, consisting of an allied Azyrran against 1 Effigy Archer, 1 Verdant Wolf, and 2 Effigies.

Regardless if the Champion wins or loses, this begins the events of this quest.

The Hive Knight: Spar

Having met Azyrran, the Champion can return to her at the same location anytime, there, they will have the option for a 1-on-1 Spar with her. Once victorious, Azyrran is confident in the Champion's abilities and explains the situation with her hive.

In normal cases, Azyrran would have the assistance of her fellow Hive Knights, however, she is alone and her hive has become corrupted just like the forest and effigies.

She needs help, and the first step is to find someone who can cut through the massive vines and she needs to figure out what to do with her hive. If the Champion has completed Dog Days, they will mention that they know lumberjacks who can cut through the vines. Azyrran is surprised by this and chimes in that they could either go to her hive or go to the Alraune directly - she adds that it would be better to deal with the hive first as her people could help deal with the Alraune.

Having already defeated the Alraune and cleared the vines, Azyrran states that she needs help and that they need to talk about her hive.

This unlocks the About the Hive Problem option. Note: Despite it being stated, the state of the vines has no impact on advancing this quest.

About the Hive Problem

In regards to the corruption of her hive, Azyrran has barely been back since the storm, and when she did, her give has greatly changed from what she remembers. Her sisters have turned into sex fiends, devoid of reason and her mother, no longer the glorious warrior and now a bimbo incessant in spreading her eggs throughout the forest, regardless if anyone is willing or not. She assumes that since the hive has a single main pool for nectar, that the corrupted pollen has triggered a breeding frenzy in her mother. She wants the pool purified and hopes that the damage can be undone, as she was able to shrug off the corrupting influence and flee.

The problem is that the queen has turned into a corrupted honeypot and cannot be allowed to feed the hive from her own breasts as her honey is even more tainted than the hive's nectar pool, however, Azyrran cannot turn her lance against her mother so the Champion must be the one to subdue her.

In regards on where to start, since vesparans are children of Lumia, one of her lightbringers could cleanse the pool. She's heard that a retired arch-paladin by the name of Ser Riordan Sanders resides in the little hamlet to the south. If the Champion can convince him to help, it would be a great help.

This unlocks the Hive Purification option with Brother Sanders.

Sanders: Hive Purification

At the Chapel of Velun in Hawkethorne, the Champion explains the situation with the hive to Sanders. He muses that while the hive have been good neighbors even before the corruption, he's far too old to help. He offers that an old Lumian contact from this crusading days, a Lady Lyana, that was on her way take over the church in Maidensbridge across the Lake Tarahugan in the Harvest Valley. She had sent him a letter requesting to meet in the valley, but given the recent events, he's hasn't had the time to slip away for a social visit.

The Lumian Paladin

Proceeding southward to the Harvest Valley, the sound of a sharp cry alerts the Champion as they see a woman driving away a pair of centaur. After seeing the Champion, she hopes that she didn't startle them and asks if the Frost Marches are always this dangerous, as she's already been accosted by two kinds of horsefolkCrazy Horse & Centaur Pack and a topless mothfolk. The Champion answers that it's a recent development, and introduces themselves and they are looking for her on behalf of Sanders.

After correction a mix-up and explaining the situation with the hive, Liaden answers that she is a journeyman paladin accompanying her mother, Lyana, who went ahead to Maidensbridge to find help to deal with the chaos that's happening in the valley. Her duties of Lumia and her flock supersede her own interests, and she'll make her way to Azyrran and wait for them there.

Rendezvous

Having enlisted the aid of the journeyman paladin Liaden, the next time the Champion encounters Azyrran, they will find the two in deep conversation. Upon seeing the Champion, Azyrran is grateful to the Champion for finding a paladin to assist them. Liaden formulates a plan by taking advantage of the corrupted hornets' desire to spread their queen's egg - that she'll run decoy by tempting the guards and have them chase her while Azyrran and the Champion sneak into the hive and beat up the queen.

Azyrran voices that she cannot fight her own mother, but Liaden insists that they deal with her somehow, and hopefully while they're confronting the queen, that she'll call the guards back to she can climb up to the hive and meet her in the pool room once everything has been dealt with.

Infiltration

With the plan infirmed, the Champion is given the following options:

Once the Champion confirms that they're ready to begin with the plan, Azyrran leads them towards her hive. There Liaden throws a taunting shout towards the hive, attracting the attention of at least three dozen workers and dashes off into the direction of the Wayfort. With the entrance to the hive cleared, Azyrran and the Champion make their way into the hive.

The Hornet Hive

Once the Champion makes their way inside, the can tackle the following objectives in any order before obtaining the keys to the queen's chambers.

Prince Nyze

At the grand balcony overlooking the Hornet Hive's honey pool, the Champion bears witness to the overflowing production of honey from the numerous bimbo workers. As each squeal of pleasure accompanies an explosion of honey into the pool, nothing breaks or slows the machine-like pace of production.

A voice yells out Azyrran's name, exclaiming that the traitor should have never returned. Azyrran answers back, that the spoiled child Nyze should hand over the key before she spanks him. A naked male drone, radiating an air of importance, strides into the Champion's view from the right side of the balcony.

If the Champion dealt with Jyrranaz first, he will grumble upon her failures. If not, he answers that he's unable to do that as she's nothing but a worthless outcast and mother has nothing to do with her.

A voice calls out, intrigued to find someone who is not one of the hive. A naked male drone, radiating an air of importance, strides into the Champion's view from the right side of the balcony.

If the Champion dealt with Jyrranaz first, he will grumble upon her failures. If not, he muses that the Champion has the gall to enter their hive and assumes that they're here to meet the prince.

At the snap of his fingers, he is dressed and armed by the surrounding hornets as a trio of bimbos accompany him. Before the fight begins, he introduces himself as Prince Nyze, evaluating the Champion's worth if they have a vagina or not, and muses on how he'll play with them. Combat will begin against Prince Nyze and 3x Hornet Workers.

The Champion has the option of sexing a defeated Prince Nyze, or simply to leave him at the mercy of the other hornets.

Defeat results in the A Nyze End - Bad End.

There’s been a lot of community feedback over these events over the years that basically breaks down into the following issues: people don’t like the binary choice between killing or enthralling the Alraune; the Hornet Hive’s “corruption path” is basically a dead end; Azzy’s recruitment is so obtuse that there’s a pretty constant thread of people going “wait you can recruit her??” and I can’t really blame them.
